Fort Science

What is the most annoying thing about museums? For many of us, it has got to be the signs saying “Please do not touch!”. At Fort Science, it’s the very opposite. Touching the exhibits is allowed, even required!

The interactive museum of the Faculty of Science, created in the premises of the former ammunition depot in a fortress from the era of Empress Maria Theresa, offers the opportunity to get first-hand experience with many scientific objects and experiments. Literally. You will find out just how much fun science can be. Fort Science is a delight for children and adults alike, attracting 100,000 visitors a year.
