The FreshUP bistros offer all this, not only to academic staff and students, but also to the general public. The one at the Faculty of Philosophy in a beautifully renovated courtyard, hidden from passers-by, has outdoor seating on sunny days. You can also visit the city wall ramparts gardens, which are literally around the corner. At the Faculty of Science, a giant Foucault pendulum will be rotating next to you, and you can visit the and the geopark with a cup in hand. From the nearby Faculty of Education, it is just a short walk to Bezruč Park where you can enjoy the panorama of Palacký University from below. And if you happen to visit the Holice campus, make sure to have a picnic in the butterfly meadow by the organic pond.

And the bistro in the university canteen in the outskirts of Olomouc in Neředín will keep you from starving.
