Corpus Christi Chapel

How many chapels do you know which host conferences and film screenings? How many chapels do you know which host both classical and electronic music concerts? And how many chapels host all of the above?

The Corpus Christi Chapel, located in the building of the Palacký University Arts Centre (the Convictorium), is a unique social and cultural space whose atmosphere grows in proportion to how much you tilt your head back and look upwards.

It was built in the 18th century, inspired mainly by Rome and its Baroque architecture. Today it is open to the public during the European Heritage Days, during the Olomouc Baroque Festival, and during the Olomouc film festivals AFO and PAF. You can also arrange a tour with the manager of the UP Arts Centre.
