Winding Bezruč Park is one of the most popular in Olomouc. Its large grass lawns are ideal for picnics and sporting activities, while the network of paths invites you to walk, jog, and inline skate. However, Bezruč Park offers more than that, such as a plethora of cultural events organised by the university initiative Park It! over the summer. Most importantly, Bezruč Park stretches along the tall historic city walls, with towering buildings of the university and others. Walk through the park with your head held high, and from below, enjoy the genius loci of the Art Nouveau Villa Primavesi, the Baroque , and the newly renovated buildings of the Faculty of Arts. Finally, you can climb the Jacob Stairs to the beautiful city wall ramparts gardens.
